"Happy Cosmos" - 16" x 20" Original Painting on Canvas Panel, Framed
About the collection:
Deep, dark grounding shades of green have been drawing me in for months. I felt an urge to explore why I was so attracted to these colors.
I painted and reflected. I noticed the colors available now in nature and how they make me feel. I painted more and continued in this loop.
Evergreens, herbs growing in the gardens, drying moss, my boys’ secret hideouts carved out of tall grasses, and dots of florals among abundant foliage.
When I see these colors, I feel … grounded, stable, alive, wild, free, expansive, peaceful.
I put these feelings onto canvas and a beautiful small collection of paintings came to be.
What feelings and emotions do these paintings inspire in you?

“Happy Cosmos” Bright white and pink carefree cosmos happily sway and bend in the breeze. They stand firm with strong stems and roots reach deep in the ground.
Original painting. Acrylic on canvas. 16” x 20” x 7/8”
Framed. Frame is new solid oak painted champagne gold.
