Original art can be expensive. But, there’s a new trend that can help maximize the impact of even the smallest piece of art.
I am loving the trend of large frames with oversized mats. They take up space and make a statement on your wall, without using up all your decorating budget.
I gathered a few of my favorite frames with oversized mats that you can find at your favorite retailer. There’s always the option for full service custom framing through me, but I know sometimes we want multiple options to choose from!

The Icon Black Wall Frames series includes a 20x20 inch frame with a 5x5 mat opening.
The Wood Gallery Oversized Mat series includes a 16x20 inch frame with a 5x7 inch mat opening.
The Threshold designed with Studio McGee series includes two 20x20 inch frames with 5x7 inch mat openings - one in black and one in natural wood finish.
